The Sainte Catherines is a punk rock band from Montreal that started in 1999. This album is a re-re-re release of their debut album self-released in 2000 on Empty Pool Records. It shows a young band excited to record for the 1st time. Very influenced by the East Bay sound of Fifteen, Jawbreaker, Crimpshrine and by Chicago's The Broadways, The Sainte Catherines first album is a sloppy, poppy dirty punk rock album of band that became one of the most important punk band of the province of Québec. Limited edition of 51 copies. 30 of them gone via pre-sales on L'ÉCURIE BLOG. 20 to go then, gone forever. New 10 year anniversary edition artwork by Karmen Mantha.

The Sainte Catherines est un groupe punk rock fondé à Montréal en 1999. Cet album est une re-re-re-éditon de leur premier album sorti en 2000 sur leur propre étiquette, Empty Pool Records. On y découvre un jeune groupe excité d'enregistrer pour la toute première fois. Influencé majoritairement par le son du East Bay Californien des Jawbreaker, Fifteen et Crimpshrine et aussi du groupe The Broadways de Chicago. Ce premier album des Sainte Catherines est un bel exemple d'un punk rock sâle, rugueux et croche en restant pop dans ses mélodies, d'un groupe qui est devenu au fil des ans, un des plus importants groupes punk de la province de Québec. Cette édition est limitée à 51 copies. 30 de celles ci ce sont vendus en pré-vente sur le BLOG de LÉCURIE. Il en reste 20 et après c'est fini pour toujours.
